... On a weekend day when we were significantly short staffed, our manager, April Jones came up on her day off, dressed in scrubs and ready to work. She not only came to offer her assistance in any way possible so that we could sit peacefully and eat lunch that day, she also brought us lunch. She has such a giving spirit and is always willing to help her team when needed, even when she is home on her day off. This goes a long way when it is a busy day and help is needed. Instead of saying, "call if you need me," she said, "I'm coming to help and will be there at 12." This kind of attitude makes a difference with nursing staff, knowing if help is needed it is always there. A big thank you from her team!
