April was very understanding, and she showed empathy. When my husband was getting frustrated and wanted to leave, she said she understood what he felt, but if it was her loved one, she would be telling him to stay as well and she kept telling my husband to stay. She also got us answers we had been waiting on all day. My husband was very pleased with her as well. She was able to get him a little more freedom for him to move around - terrific since he has ADHD.
April is a very good nurse and we appreciate her so much. We wanted to show our appreciation by nominating her for a DAISY Award. She deserves it. April tries to keep her patients calm while still looking out for the best interest of the patients. She kept reassuring my husband by telling him he needed to be here, and he heard what she was telling him. April appears to be very passionate about her work and it shows.
