April Phillips was our nurse in the Progressive Care Unit after my husband was hospitalized for a motorcycle accident. April was so helpful and uplifting. She constantly made us aware of any news about my husband’s condition, which medications and treatments were available, and of any important information that we might need. In addition, she provided me with comfort items since there was no bathroom in the room. She treated us as if we were the only family in the unit, even though she was obviously extremely busy. She managed her patients thoroughly and competently while making everyone feel special and loved. We almost hated to leave the hospital!
