D was hospitalized 3 times since November. This time was a very trying time for her. Several healthcare professionals stood out as wonderful caregivers. April LeBeouf was one that really made difference in her recovery. After a second surgery on her knee, she was in severe pain and discomfort. Several times during this stay, April went above and beyond to make sure D as comfortable, fed, and relaxed. April is a great asset to Terrebonne General.

April has been very beneficial to my stay here at Terrebonne General in more ways than one. She has been emotionally, physically, and spiritually supportive and I felt very safe and secure in her presence. Nursing is most definitely the career for her. She deserves this nomination and so much more. She brought so much joy to my days and made my stay a pleasant one even in my worst times. She brought me so much comfort and was so pleasant with me and my visitors. April is #1, the most amazing and outstanding nurse there is!!
