I got a chance to witness and be a part of April's unforgettable care. Among a significantly traumatic environment, April stayed cool, calm and present and most of all human while caring for a family struggling with their loss. The many hugs, backrubs and "amen's" and even a tear or two were inspirational to be a part of. The most caring thing if that's even possible was bringing one of the nurses down to memorialize the footprint of the baby that passed.
