April Mitchell 2024, RN

In May, my sister gave birth to a baby girl. During her pregnancy, our mother died. When we came to postpartum care we had April as a nurse. After this overwhelming feeling of familiarity, I realized she was one of the nurses who delivered B, 23 years ago! I recognized her from photos I found while going through my mother’s things and told her that ONLY GOD put her here during this time. April has been an angel! She helped the baby latch, and she has been so caring, kind, and compassionate. The Holy Spirit was with us in these moments and put April exactly where God knew she was needed! April prayed over our entire family, and we cried the happiest tears. To have a nurse who is knowledgeable and kind is one thing, but to have a nurse who prays for complete healing over your family is something that you cannot fathom. I could never repay God for this immeasurable blessing! April gave us an experience that only God could give us. She brought pieces of our mom with her into this room, and I am forever grateful! We love you, April!
