April Pena, BSN, RN

I have the honor of not only working with April, but my child was also treated by her in the emergency department recently. April is a wonderful nurse and person. When working with April, the atmosphere is always calm, controlled, and organized; she is knowledgeable, caring, and genuinely listens to the patient, providing exemplary care. April is a strong leader in our department. I would like to nominate April for the DAISY Award because I feel that she represents the best that Northwestern Medicine has to offer.
