April had a patient after hours a few months ago who told her about the struggles that he was having personally with his disease. He expressed to her how much it had affected his life and the detriment that he was experiencing. She went out of her way to find community resources for him, to give support and encouragement, even went so far as to get his email address and send him further information about other health benefits such as yoga. Recently she saw this patient again and found out that her advice had been helpful to this person and now he is getting the support he needed because of her help. I am so proud of you April! You did a great thing for this person and made a huge difference in the life of a stranger who asked you for help. Thank you for your kindness and compassion! You are amazing!
April is always going above and beyond to provide the best possible care for her patients. She is always coming in early or leaving late if necessary in order to assure that her patients are well taken care of. One particular day when we had 2 patients in stage 2, that were here for around 12 hours due to breathing problems. In that whole time, April was so patient and caring with them until they left. They told her she was the best nurse they ever had.
