April is not my supervisor, but I've noticed how hard she has worked to develop the CITC program and pull together the staff to get the team to work at their highest capacity. She has taken on as Acting ACN for the Telehealth program while developing and mentoring the Deputy of CITC to manage CITC. I can see all the work she has done and it's a lot that has demonstrated positive outcomes, and there must be so much more that is being done that is not seen. Her dedication and commitment to leading nurses are remarkable. CITC has a large workload with ongoing changes and demands. Although the work is demanding and lack appreciation by other departments, her staff have stayed and more nurses want to work for her, so she must be doing something right as a leader.
