April was nominated by the wife of one of our A7 East Alzheimer patients. She is nominating April because she is an "exceptional nurse and so very deserving" of this award. April had taken the time to treat the patient like family and learned the patient's "special prompts" in caring for him and helping him to be more cooperative. This has been a difficult transition for the patient and family as they await his move to a skilled nursing facility where they will continue to address his needs.
