April Talley was an amazing preceptor in the operating room! April is the “mama bear” that has your back and doesn’t let you feel alone or dumb for asking questions. She is very thorough and provides exceptional patient care. She truly does her best to make the patient feel as comfortable as possible. She is consistently going above and beyond for her department by ensuring patient flow goes smoothly and will even come in on her days off if the surgery schedule is heavy. A prime example of this is she often still scrubs in for cases as well as being a circulator, sometimes both in the same day!

Apryl also promotes departmental comradery by ensuring to give gifts not only to her co-workers but also the physicians she works with on special occasions! If I was a patient, I would want April to by my nurse. Thank you for all that you do for your patients as well as our department April. You have truly proven to be an outstanding Nurse Leader in our department.
