Our patient had an abdominal aorta aneurysm on ultrasound and Araceli identified the situation and moved quickly to schedule a STAT CT of the abdomen and pelvis. The patient wanted to wait to go on a trip and Araceli provided education and support to get the CT done first. The patient was admitted to the hospital and surgery was performed to save his life. The patient missed his trip, but he is here to talk about it.
