When I arrived here I was very distraught, sick and uncertain of what was to become of me. I was overwhelmed with sorrow due to the possibility of losing my right leg. Nurse Vega went out of her way to make me comfortable during the Christmas holiday. I was an emotional wreck, sobbing constantly . Aracelis would spend extra time with me and comfort and console me. She was a big part of my emotional upgrade. After Surgery on my leg Aracelis constantly checked in on me to make sure I was OK, even when she was not assigned to me. Seeing her actions with other patients is always the same. Compassion empathy, caring and prompt response. I owe Nurse Vega my life. She is always smiling and willing to help, no matter what. She is an example of what a nurse should be. Aracelis definitely deserves recognition.
