Areanha understood the importance of not only how our son felt but for me as well! She always listened; she was so concerned about him that she stayed over her shift with a long drive ahead of her to make sure he was ok. Our son has autism, and it's not always easy to have a caretaker understand him but most importantly ask what works best for him and his needs. She took us to get his x-rays the day after surgery when she had other sweet kids in her care. 1 in 59 children is now born with autism, so it is happening more and more. The comfort that comes with someone who just understands your child is all anyone can ask for.
