I would like to recognize a truly exceptional nurse who went above and beyond to support me and my father during a very stressful time.

Upon my father's discharge, we were given the wrong rehabilitation therapy order, which meant I had to return to the hospital to have it corrected. Areli was incredibly attentive and compassionate throughout the entire process. She took the time to listen carefully to my concerns and made sure the correct therapy order was issued. She also patiently clarified the discharge instructions, ensuring I understood everything needed for my father's continued care and medications.

Her kindness and professionalism made a world of difference. What touched me most was her willingness to help despite the fact that my father does not have insurance. I was afraid no one would assist us, but she never hesitated. She provided valuable information about different resources and assistance programs, which gave me hope and direction when I felt lost.

Her dedication, empathy, and thoroughness truly exemplify what nursing is all about. She treated us with dignity and respect, and I am deeply grateful for the time she took to help us.

She made a difficult situation manageable, and for that, I believe she deserves to be recognized with a DAISY Award.

Thank you, Areli, for your exceptional compassion, advocacy, and dedication to your patients. You truly make a difference.
