During this snowstorm we had the last three days, Aric Ramon has been Charge RN. He went above and beyond the call of duty. So many people called in, and we were short-staffed for three whole days. He stayed in contact with staffing all day to make sure we had enough help. He helped with blood pressure, changed patients, and even bought breakfast for all the staff with his own money.

For two days, he asked the techs if we needed help, checking in on us all day. 

Aric is a great example of what a charge nurse should be, and if we get floated he will take the time to go to that department to check on us and ask us if we are being treated fairly and if our assignments are fair. Aric is the only charge nurse that has ever done that in all the days I've worked at Baylor. 

I always know it's going to be a good day when he is at work. He deserves so much! He is loving and kind always helping no matter what the task is. He is truly an angel with wings.
