Ariel Courtemanche, RN at Macomb’s 6C Telemetry Unit, was nominated for a DAISY Award by a patient’s daughter, who shared, “My mother’s nurse is an angel. If it wasn’t Ariel’s sixth sense and quick actions, my mother may not be here today. She had a stroke on Ariel’s watch. Thank God for the great training and understanding of dignity she has for her patients. She truly is an angel waiting for her pin. Thanks to all who took care of her.”
