Long after his shift was over, he heard me choking, coughing, and gasping for air as he was walking by. He came in, assisted me, and set up two IVs, one with steroids and one with antibiotics. I am so thankful; my right lung and ribs were hurting so bad that it was hard to breathe and painful to cough. I had no more cough, so I was just choking, and I could not catch my breath. Very scary. Going to the hospital was very scary. I didn’t think that I would get to leave ever, but I did, and I am home. Thanks to the staff and doctors who took good care of me when I needed it.
