Arielle Skalisky helped my husband feel welcome as the primary support person during labor/delivery of our son, and respectfully educated him on the birthing process as it was underway. Ari is simply amazing; she maintained a soothing environment in the labor room with soft lighting, minimal medical supplies, and essential oils to use. She helped bring in supplies and helped me with the position changes to relieve pain, she listened to my wishes and is a great communicator. She honored and understood my wishes for a low intervention birth. I never felt pressured or rushed.
Ari monitored the right amount of monitoring of baby while also giving us our space. Her knowledge showed through in everything she did. She kept my room so relaxing and a haven of safety. She sat at my bedside and was an active participant in my labor. The next day, Ari stopped by to visit and followed up with how we were doing. The continuity of care showed her commitment to my husband and me. She presented us with a little handmade gift for our little boy. I will tell him stories of the amazing nurse who helped him into this world.
