Aristotle (Aris) M Deveza, RN

I am a nurse and also an advocate in care of the patients, and I was assigned in a very busy area where it is chaotic and stressful. Aris was one of the nurses who exemplify quality care with a great heart to patients. He is definitely a great example of a Nurse, not just by profession but carries himself with a positive attitude every day, which radiates not just to his patients, but to other members of the healthcare team as well.

We had a patient that is needing an immediate care due to a life-threatening heart condition. Aris was in the same area with me that time, he was also busy, but he didn't hesitate to extend a helping hand with all his might just to help save a patient's life. He always works above and beyond, helps his colleagues with stressful situations and always reminds us that stress is just a part of everyday life, and we should always deal with it with a positive attitude. He is an asset to the Emergency Team, and I can say that he also treats the patients like his family. He is able to go above and beyond the normal call of duty.
