I ended up having complications from treatment. She was the first nurse to be assigned to me. She was so kind and compassionate. When I didn’t feel right after the third day of treatment, she knew something was off. She took my vitals; my blood pressure was low. She alerted the provider immediately.

Arlene made such a daunting task as five hours of chemo days for five days straight, so much easier. She knew I was applying for nursing school. She encouraged me to follow my passion and continue my education. When I felt my worst, she comforted not only me, but my father, who was also concerned.
