January 2025 Honoree
Armani Briseno, RN
I just wanted to take a moment to share how much my family and I appreciated Armani, one of your nurses, during my aunt's time in the ICU. Even in the middle of such an overwhelming and heartbreaking situation, Armani showed us so much kindness and compassion. He made time to explain everything he was doing and answered any questions we had. We could tell he was super busy, but he would still frequently check up on each one of us and offer us food, drinks, and tissues. He made sure we felt supported and cared for, and his empathy truly meant the world to us.
Armani had only known my aunt for about 5 hours, but I could tell he is a very loving person by the way he shared moments with my family and I as we prayed for my aunt. I hope he never changes and continues to be the caring person he is. It was obvious Armani is a USF grad- he carried himself with such professionalism and empathy. Please let him know how grateful we are for the way he treated not just my aunt, but our entire family.
