One of our employees recently delivered her baby at our hospital. He was diagnosed with a condition that required a colostomy and was transferred to Children's Hospital where he had surgery that same day. After discharge, the family struggled with the care for the colostomy. Mom and baby visited LMC today for a lactation outpatient visit. Armi came in on her day off to assess his colostomy, troubleshoot and show the mom different techniques. She contacted the vendor to overnight specific supplies that were needed. She went above and beyond, teaching and helping this new mom care for her baby with special needs. Thank you, Armi, for your time, expertise and compassion!
