Through the years, I have witnessed how Armila makes a difference in the care she provides for her patients and their families, whether she is bedside nurse or a charge nu She is well loved by her colleagues, patients and their families. We always get positive feedback from the patients and family how they appreciate the care delivered to them, and would even request for her to be their nurse.

She makes sure her patients received the best care, taking consideration of delivering high quality care, so she always receives thank you cards from them. She was been nominated and recognized as employee of the month in our unit, the first nurse who got it consistently as she got it last year and this year.

Her colleagues called her ANGEL at work, as she is a good team player. She always will take time to extend a helping hand no matter how busy she is.

She demonstrates a good example at work, an inspiration for others, and a pride of this profession. She has a kind heart and has integrity as a person.

I remember one time when she was questioned why she allowed one night that her patient got 2 sitters, then when she told us that how sick the baby was and the mother as well is undergoing additional stress for some issues at home, we realized she demonstrated compassion to the patient and even the mother verbalized how happy she was having her taking time to listen on her needs.

To top it all, she is actively engaged now in taking lead in some of our quality indicators to have improvements. When I was on holidays, she even took the lead that documentation audit is done, she helped the Magnet champions and the retention link in their activities.
