I've had the honor of working in different settings with Armistia Sanders here at Rusk State Hospital. She goes above and beyond for her patients and keeps a smile on everyone's face around her. She doesn’t hesitate to go the extra mile, if needed. Working as a Psychiatric Nurse, she has handled many situations in the most professional yet caring way possible. I work with the patients on her unit as a Physician's Clerk, and we had a situation where no one was able to get through to a patient, and Armistia stepped up and was able to talk to the patient calmly, and they chose to comply. Anyone who works with Armistia knows she will do whatever for her staff and patients. It is no secret that she loves her job and will do whatever she can to make the unit run smoothly. Thank you, Armistia, for all that you do here at Rusk State Hospital.
