August 2021 Honoree
Aron Childers, BSN, RN
I would like to tell you what a wonderful nurse Aron is. My husband was fighting for his life. Aron was there for the whole family. He suggested that my husband try and get off the bipap. He would get a therapist and whatever my husband needed to be comfortable to be off for a few seconds. It worked and my husband is still off after 2 ½ weeks. Aron knew what he needed and my husband was too weak to ask. My husband has a hearing problem, and may I add he is stubborn. When we wanted him to do something, we would bring up Aron’s name. He tried because of Aron. Aron is an angel nurse! My husband always asks where his guy is. Aron gave all of us reassurance when he was there. We trusted him with whatever he did and said. The job Aron is doing is not a JOB, it is a dedication and a love of what he’s doing to help people that are too sick to help themselves. Aron is a very dedicated young man and any sick person or family would be very fortunate to know and have this young man as a nurse in their hospital. I am sure that Mr. and Mrs. Kettering would have hired nurses like Aron in a minute.
Thank you, Aron, for your exceptional compassion, advocacy, and dedication to your patients. You truly make a difference.
