My son recently had surgery and was admitted to 3 East Surgical. As an RN I was calm but curious and concerned. Throughout my visit, I noticed so many things. It was eye-opening to be on the other side. Aron was the perfect example of the nurse I hope I am. He made me feel safe. He had a welcoming smile. He was calm and professional even when I was the parent who was weak. He reassured me and addressed my concerns. He was quiet in my room at night which is hard to do. He reminded me how important our role as a nurse is to our patients in their times of need. I hope someday someone will describe me as I describe him today. Thank you, Aron, for being you.
