Arthur was wonderful as he was our pre and post-nurse for M's (my daughter) tonsillectomy. He explained everything before doing it, and he explained everything that was going to happen in the OR. Post OP, he helped M recover and helped expedite our departure. He was very detailed in-home recovery, which was most helpful, including things to watch for and what to do, things to eat, and how to take meds, including setting alarms. He was very compassionate and knowledgeable, exercised excellent communication, and displayed excellent nursing skills. We felt safe in his care. M is doing well at home and having a good recovery thanks to the good care given by all on the team; everyone was so nice to us. We would recommend Upstate to those in need.
