Arvidencio Tawali's name is consistently brought up as being the staff member who deserves recognition. During associate-leader rounds, Arvidencio was called "the silent watcher." Staff mentioned that he is always available when they need help.
I also recently received two e-mails, one from the Emergency Dept for stepping up and taking a patient while Arvidencio was charging in the ICU, and got the patient out of ED, who was intubated and was on a Levophed drip, so that the patient did not have to stay any longer in the ED. This just showed what a great leader and team member Arvidencio is.
The 2nd e-mail I received was from a Respiratory Therapist who mentioned the compassion and positivity Arvidencio played in the role of a bedside nurse. One night, while he was taking care of a patient, the patient's family member placed a religious item in the palm of the patient's hand. Come to find out it might have gotten thrown out when the patient had a bath. Arvidencio went out of the way to pull the dirty laundry bag that was removed and went searching through all that dirty linen to find this religious item that had some sentimental value to the patient's family. This showed true compassion for this patient and the family. Arvidencio always maintains a caring and professional nature.
Thank you Arvidencio, for being a wonderful asset to our unit and our facility.
