We had a patient admit to us on Sunday who had no family or support system to help with his dog, which was crated at home without food or water. With permission from the patient, AJ stepped up and collected his dog from the patient’s home, her food, and the doggy bed and is taking care of her at his house until the patient is discharged. The patient was relieved and can focus on his health and getting better now that he knows she is safe.
