Sam demonstrated integrity, dignity, and compassion as a nurse. Being a type 1 diabetic, Sam was on top of my sugars and made sure I was comfortable. Sam went beyond the duties of a nurse. I formed a bond with Sam due to his stewardship and his compassion. Sam went beyond and above in demonstrating core values of integrity, human dignity, compassion, stewardship, and service.
