Asha Christian, RN

Asha has been with the facility for quite some time now, but has recently been named as Clinical Coordinator for one of our units. We have a resident that has a number of issues and because of this, she would not leave her room or even get out of bed. Asha has been the first Clinical Coordinator who has taken the time with the resident. She takes the time to listen to her, and she challenges her to complete tasks for herself on a daily basis. This resident has improved tremendously. This resident is now getting out of bed, coming out of her room, and developing friendships with other residents. This is a true enhancement on her overall quality of life. Asha and her team have truly demonstrated the act of caring for the whole person. This is a true example of the oath that we all took as nurses, and we are truly lucky to have her as a member of our team.
