We had a member who passed away on a Friday night and the family wanted to have burial services the next day (Saturday) and needed the death certificate.

The Vital Statistics department is closed on weekends and since Asha knew this, she reached out to the Hospital Base Specialist (HBS) to fill out the hard copy for the Death Certificate and inform the family to take the paperwork to the County Office in the morning.

The County office was open until 12 noon on Saturday. The family was able to get assistance right away and provided appropriate Death Certification to proceed with the burial services for their loved one.
