Ashlee Douek cared for my mom off and on during her five-day stay. Ashlee was always kind, in tune with my mom's needs, and explained things to my mom in ways she could understand. Ashlee answered every question and if she didn't know, she would go find out. She made a difficult situation better. Ashlee treated my mom the way she needed to be treated, with a little tough love. When she was taking care of my mom I always left with a smile on my face. Ashlee was just wonderful. I know the Nurses sometimes deal with crappy stuff but she always had a smile on her face and she was even training someone. I was surprised how much time she was able to give my mom even while training someone. She made a horrible situation better. Everyone was wonderful, but she stood out from her peers.
