Ashlee Meissner is a phenomenal nurse. Ashlee began her journey in health care many years ago at Seattle Children’s. Throughout her time at the hospital, she has been nothing but a light in everyone’s life. Every day, she comes in with a positive attitude. She treats all individuals she meets with dignity and respect. Her kindness and happiness are contagious. When working with staff, Ashlee is always there and ready to lend a helping hand. No task is too small or too big for her. She will dive in headfirst. Ashlee reminds you how smart and capable you are, only improving the morale of the floor. When working with patients and families, Ashlee will take the extra time to make meaningful connections and provide outstanding care. Ashlee will have conversations with families and patients to allow them to share how difficult these times are for them and will always go above and beyond to make sure they’re comfortable. Even if that means standing by the blanket warmer waiting patiently to bring someone the best blanket she can! Ashlee defines what it means to be a nurse at Seattle Children’s, and it is an honor to know her. Anyone who meets her will be blessed to have her in their life.
