For the past month or so, we’ve had the blessing of having this incredible nurse on and off caring for my daughter and me — and every single time she’s assigned to us, I breathe a little easier.
Whenever I ask for something, she’s already on it. Whenever we need something, she’s got it. No hesitation — just heart, attentiveness, and genuine care.
She goes above and beyond in ways that don’t always show up on a chart. It’s in the small things. The thoughtful check-ins. The way she anticipates needs. The way she makes a long hospital stay feel less overwhelming.
And I absolutely love her spunky little attitude. That spark she carries brings life into the room. On the heavier days, her energy truly makes a difference.
After this past month of her caring for us on and off, it’s going to feel different not seeing her walk through that door. We’re truly going to miss her.
Some people just work a shift. She walks in purpose. And we are so grateful.
