Ashlee Turturro, BSN, RN

Today was one of the worst days. My aunt is currently admitted and Ashlee Turturro was her nurse today. She’s been so kind and considerate to my aunt all day. Unfortunately, my uncle, my aunt’s husband, passed away today. We needed to tell my aunt, so we stepped out and talked to Ashlee to give her a heads up. Ashlee tried to secure a private room for her and stayed one step ahead of what we could think my aunt would need. She spoke with her doctor, and helped my aunt and my family as we grieved. I’m so grateful that Ashlee and the tech who was helping were taking care of my aunt. Their endless compassion was needed and was so appreciated by my family. Ashlee’s actions were emblematic of the highest standard of care.
