It is evident that she cares about people and her job just by how she responds to me as a patient.
She has had a tremendous positive impact on me. I had a really rough night last night and today she came in making sure that she has met every need I have had proactively. She is on top of everything, she has gone out of her way to make sure she has done everything she can do to help me feel better. This means even more to me after the night I had last night.

Additionally, her attitude and smile are a blessing. She helped when the A/C went out in my room, even going to get a fan for me. This is a big deal because I have MS. She has taken the time to listen and see what she could do to make the situation better. It is evident that she cares about people and her job just by how she responds to me as a patient. Nurses have an opportunity to really have an impact on people when they can be in an unfavorable situation. She certainly has done that and I am thankful for her and her work ethic and heart.

I couldn’t even begin to fathom the words to clarify one individual instance, apart from many. When Ashleigh has shown great lengths of heroism-like actions. She is quick to respond to any given situation. She can be considered a strong hand to lean on as well as a bright light of leadership characteristics to follow behind. When situations get scary, she is quick to pounce into action in whatever role is needed. I have been involved in many codes with her and each time she has all together helped calm me while guiding me through each step. She is a positive person each and every day and has the most vibrant personality and work ethic. She may not be aware of the great effect she has on her team because she naturally strides with a heart full of compassion, with the littlest use of words in a less complex summary. Many patients recognize her greatness with a simple “we need more nurses like her.”
