Ashleigh has been phenomenal from quite literally the second we walked through the building as we saw her in reception and she guided us and told us where to go. Our daughter was in for a dilation of her stent and she has been nothing short of everything you could wish for when your child has to undergo surgery on their heart.

Ashleigh explained everything to us as parents and then to our child in a way that gained a very scared 8 year old's trust. Her explanations of everything that would happen were exceptional and not only did she explain she also listened to us as parents. Nothing was too much trouble for her. She is an absolute credit to the NHS and her bedside manner and the way she treated not only us but every other patient she had was amazing. 

Thank you so very much, Ashleigh, for taking such good care of our child. I only hope for our next surgery, you will be there! This hospital is very lucky to have you and you’re what a nurse should be!
