I was about to go through a c-section, and even though it felt like the scariest thing in the world, Ashley helped me work through my fears and move me in bed to try to dilate me as much as I could.
Being a first-time mom is something life-changing. It is also something very difficult. I was hoping for a natural delivery, but things weren’t looking like it was going to be likely. I was feeling defeated and tired, no energy all the time and weak. I couldn’t help to feel a bother every time I hit that call button to ask for something.
When Ashley was my nurse, she would always come in and check on me very often without me having to ask, bringing me snacks, water, and giving comfort. My fiancée and my whole family loved her very much and greatly appreciated how she treated me through a very hard time.

In the end, I went through with my baby naturally, and it was one of the most beautiful things that has ever happened to me.
Even before my labor, Ashley would tell me about her labor and joke with me to keep me calm about some worries I had at the moment. After my baby was born, she came to check up on me, even though she wasn’t my nurse. Helped me latch on to my baby after telling her I felt like I couldn’t do it.
My family noticed how wonderful of a nurse she is, and I know just by how she treated me, a complete stranger, that she must be an amazing mother as well.
I thank her for making my labor and delivery a lot more bearable and for treating me in a way that I’ll never forget. Next time I tell my labor story, I’ll never forget to mention the amazing nurse that treated me so great through it all. THANK YOU ASHLEY!
