Ashley Baker, RN

At 17 weeks gestation, we found out that our baby's heart had stopped beating. We were admitted to deliver our baby and sorrowfully also say goodbye. Ashley was our nurse through the first 12 hours of being in labor. Ashley was beyond kind, calm, and compassionate throughout those hours as labor progressed. She sat by my bedside through some really hard moments. She was also able to bring a lightness to the room that was so needed as my husband and I were in shambles. She sat with us and chatted, and her presence brought us so much light through a really hard experience. It cannot be easy for a nurse to sign on for this shift, but there Ashley was walking this journey with my husband and me. Ashley is an exemplary nurse, and it is evident she cares so much about every patient she cares for. We were so blessed to have her as our nurse through one of the hardest moments of our lives.
