Ashley is currently functioning in a relief charge nurse role. However, Ashley demonstrates outstanding leadership skills with a "can-do" positive attitude, always with a warm welcoming smile.
Ashley was the charge nurse working with 6 brand new nurses and 37 patients. During this busy night, she called a rapid response at 23:40 which continued for approximately 4 hours. During this time, she was able to coach and teach and safely stabilize the patient to be transferred to 5N using excellent time management skills. Ashley was still able to assist the novice nurses so that they were able to leave on time.
