I’ve seen Ashley so many times in the past two days, I wonder how she is able to spend so much time with each patient. And actual quality time. She drives a couple of hours one way to come to work and shows up in the morning with a smile and concern about how I (the patients) are doing. Her positive attitude is contagious. She kept that positive attitude throughout her shift. Funny story: I had not eaten in 33 hours. I was NPO the entire time. Ashley knew I was hungry. She was checking every couple of hours for me. Finally, just before her shift ended, she runs into my room and said they are not doing the stress test until tomorrow and YOU CAN EAT!!. She grabbed the phone and dialed the kitchen and said you only have ½ hour to place your order!!!. Oh my goodness, that's a story I will tell my friends and family. Ashley has kept me well informed of what is going to happen next so I know what's going on. Her attention to detail amazes me. She’s like her own computer. She’s also so respectful of me and has made me so comfortable and I applaud Ascension Borgess for hiring such a competent nurse.
