Ashley Cartee, BSN, RN

Ashley is just one of those nurses you think about when you imagine your ideal nurse. She is kind, compassionate, and very skilled. She is an even better charge nurse. Today on HNVU we had an unexpected death, several rapid responses and it was already a busy day for everyone on the floor. Ashley was in the trenches with us the entire day. She not only helped me and my patients but did a full rapid response for another nurse who had two patients needing urgent attention at the same time, she helped with admissions and made sure we were all able to eat lunch. She made a crazy day more bearable for every single nurse under her charge. She's just a star, plain and simple!
