Ashley went above and beyond her duties helping me prepare for countless exams and quizzes over the course of nursing school. She would always offer to spend extra time and provide me with resources to ensure that I understood the content before the next exam. Ashley always did all she could in order to help me. Her selfless acts did not go unnoticed and I couldn’t have gotten through nursing school without her!

Ashley is the epitome of a compassionate leader. She is constantly willing to give help where necessary even if it is not her known area of expertise, but, she will give some sort of guidance on where to go to receive help. Even on a busy day, she makes the time to sit down and explain a concept, so that it’s understood. Her devotion to both students and faculty shows how bright her selfless demeanor shines. Many nights (even over breaks) I have left the building and still saw their vehicle outside in the parking lot alone because she’s hard at work. Ashley is very approachable and calming in panicked situations and is able to prioritize steps to make a task that feels massive, seem small. I appreciate everything that she does every day for everyone she comes in contact with. There is no question that Ashley deserves to be the Faculty DAISY Award Honoree.
