Ashley was recognized by the daughter of one of her home hospice patients. The daughter had told Ashley that she could go home and she would call when she needed her. Ashley chose to stay with the patient and daughter. The daughter was so thankful that she stayed because, in the last 8 hours of her father's life, she broke. Ashley stepped in and took over to care for both the patient and daughter. The patient passed away with great care, comfort, and dignity.
