From the first time I met Ashley in NURS 3106, I knew that she was going to be one of my favorite professors. Her obvious compassion, love for teaching, advocacy for her students, and desire for holistic, well-rounded experiences were evident even when she gave her first lecture. Her attention to detail, her assignments, PowerPoint presentations, and advocacy for her patients has always been appreciated, and when I had the opportunity to work with her as a NURS 3106 Mentor, I was able to see how much she wants her students to be successful. I've had the privilege of using Ashley as a reference, a confidant, a friend, and an advisor in my future positions. She's never failed in any of these roles, and I fully appreciate how willing she is to see that I am successful as a student. Her intentionality and kindness are so unique, and she lights up a room with her joy and desire for all to know their fullest potential.
