I was passing a comfort care patient’s room when I heard Ashley reading the patient each get-well card he had received. She not only read the cards to the patient, but she also taped them to the window (just in case he opened his eyes, he could see them). It blessed my heart that he was not responsive enough to engage with her. This hospital is a better place because of her and the compassion she has! This speaks volumes to what Ashley does every day!
