My husband was in the hospital and he was sick with double pneumonia and we were waiting for his COVID-19 test results. We could not see him or be with him and it was a scary time. He was moved to IVCU on his second day. We were very worried and had very little communication with him. Ashley was his nurse. She was very attentive to his care. She also took time on the phone to explain to me everything that had been done and what was going on with him. Results of tests that had come back and who his doctor was. She set my mind at ease and made me feel 100% better about everything. Communication is key and her taking a little time to explain things during a very tough time made a big difference.She also assured me she would call me if there were any changes.
