Ashley Franklin, RN

During my wife's labor, our baby went into severe distress. Ashley Franklin took control of our baby's emergency care as others arrived to help. Ashley was clearly the leader and continued in that role until the pediatrician arrived. She calmly and confidently directed each team member in their role. I was paralyzed with fear for my child as I watched the team use equipment and medical terms I was not familiar with. Ashley's communication with my wife and me was extraordinary. She was calm and clear and frequently informed us of the baby's condition! Ashley continued to care for our family on the post-partum unit. She continued to impress us with her clinical excellence, kindness, patience, and sincere manner. She encouraged our questions and patiently answered them. She exemplifies the very best in nursing and is so worthy of the DAISY Award.
